Developing MiramoPDF templates

To publish DITA content in PDF format, you can define stylesheets using (sometimes quite complex) page layout code, such as XSL-FO or CSS. This takes time and requires in-depth knowledge.

MiramoPDF solves this problem: it is a handy tool for designing your PDF templates. It consists of the following components:

- Miramo Designer, the graphic environment in which you design PDF templates for DITA and XML files

- Miramo Composer, the “composition engine” that converts XML files to PDF

- The Miramo DITA-OT plugin, with which you publish to PDF via the DITA-OT

Designing MiramoPDF templates in Miramo Designer: 2 days.
